Visit the many attractions that the Pocono's has to offer from trails and snow peaks, lakes, rivers and valleys to the Sherman Theater, the attraction to the local food, wineries and local lore. We are 5 minutes from the local courts and 15 minutes from the Pocono NASCAR Raceway (The Tricky Triangle). This description is for: The Poconos One: Main Street Stroudsburg, PA 1st floor, open space and tall ceilings on Main Street. Porch lounge chairs, breakfast nooks, ceiling fans and Internet streaming. We do not subscribe to the local TV network (we cut the cable a while back) so our TV’s are connected to Internet for Streaming or casting. The speeds are high enough for multiple devices. The WI-FI modem is nearby for continuous connection. Remote controls should be available in the appropriate rooms. Network Name: 804 Guest Network Kitchen and Bath Look for complimentary water bottles and snacks. We do not have a full kitchen available for our guests. We have basic cooking appliances, utensils and equipment that you are free to use, please let us know if you have specific needs. Keurig coffee machine with coffee and tea pods should be available. In the bath, look for complimentary shampoo, conditioner and soap. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer will be found in the bedroom closet. Please inform us if you find issues with available products. Laundry: While we don’t have laundry facilities inside the apartment, there are 2 laundromats nearby, you can drop off and pick up or do your own. Foyer and apartment. Contactless check - in/out. Housekeeping is available for service between 11am through 3pm and other times when requested. Restaurant & Bar Recommendations There are some lovely restaurants nearby which I recommend you check out. Below are some of my favorites, I hope you enjoy! • Thai Orchid, a little pricey but very authentic and tasty • Siamsa, music, great Irish menu, and pub food • Sarah Street Grill Sports Bar, down the road is a great hang-out spot that we frequent. Music, wings, sushi, and games bar. • Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse, etc., near the Lowes Plaza Tourist Attractions and Activities You will find plenty of tourist attractions in our city, Delaware Water Gap is a great spot to visit during your stay. There is great hiking, a lovely lake with plenty of wildlife, where you can have picnics. Popular activities in our area include canoeing, rollerblading, go-karting, and golf. Fun for the whole family. There’s even ten-pin bowling, as well as laser tag... Below are some of the most popular which are worth visiting during your stay here. • The Sherman Theater The Sherman Theater first debuted on January 7th, 1929 with an opening night by Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. Through the decades the theater has welcomed numerous concerts and art. • NASCAR – Pocono Raceway Pocono Raceway aka ‘The Tricky Triangle’, is a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains in Long Pond, PA • Skiing and Water Sports Trust us, you will love these here • Art Gallery While there are a number of these nearby, the most popular art gallery in the area is the City Gallery which is in Main St about 3 blocks away next to the Stroud Wine Galley. Shopping A visit to the Poconos is not complete without a visit to our huge range of shopping options. Outlet Malls • The Crossings Premium Outlet Mall is where you will find premium popular brands at super prices. Here you will find two levels and over 100 shops in one area. Main Street • A popular street with boutique shops, cafes, wine bars, dives, if you love sidewalk cafes, then you will absolutely love Main Street. Markets • Every Saturday a local old times farmers market is held at 600 Main Street, Town Square. Be sure to try the local preserves and famous garlic spreads as well as different crafts. The closest hospital is the Pocono Medical center located at 175 E Brown St, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 it is a 5-minute drive away from the apartment.
