Description
Come and recharge your batteries with family or friends in this typical 400 m² riad nestled in an unspoiled setting. The property is located in a real fishing village overlooking a huge natural beach popular with gliding enthusiasts. You will have 6 bedrooms with each shower room and toilet , 1 indoor pool, 1 equipped kitchen, large covered living spaces and roof terrace with an incredible sea view. Larbi, the concierge stays in the house to ensure its proper functioning. The space The Riad is our second home and we love it for its simplicity and tranquility. Home sweet home. It is a place almost out of time and yet it is next to all major roads. Located in a peaceful fishing village, it is Morocco beldi (authentic), everyone is kind and respectful and must be in return. Peaceful atmosphere with different universes where everyone found their own little corner and no one stepped on their toes. A haven of peace where you can find yourself after a walk in nature, a surf session, a bike ride, a trip to Essaouira or any other activity. It is large 400m², so there is space, not including the 400m² of the terrace. The riad breaks down into two interconnecting parts. The first part has 3 large bedrooms and their 3 bathrooms, a living space with small garden, small lounge and pool table under the canopies, the kitchen and dining room connected to a living room with fireplace (for winter evenings). The second part also has 3 large bedrooms with their own bathrooms around the glass pool and hammam. Upstairs, it is the large terrace that makes the entire surface of the house, part is covered with a small TV lounge (to watch movies no antenna), a dining room, and a summer kitchen communicating with the barbecue area. Watch out for sunburn! Between the view of the whole bay of Sidi Kaouki, the breakfast that hangs a little, or the little nap in the lounge chair, there is a way to organize good Biafine evenings! Guest access Renters have access to our entire house, exclusively and in full. Please take care of them. The concierge is here to explain how the house works to you. He can also explain some walks, surfing spot and tell you the grocers etc... The village does not have the traditional phone (with a wire). All based on mobile. The house is connected to fiber and the internet connection is very good. On the other hand, the Riad is large and has thick walls, the WiFi spreads well but not evenly, and there are a few areas with less reception. If you have teens attached to screens taped to their phones all day, you should see your stay as a digital detox opportunity. Ours adapt very quickly, and even forget to charge their phone after a few days! That's to tell you... Since it's the holidays, you won't necessarily want to cook and clean. Everyone tells us that what everyone tells us. Locally, by notifying our concierge a little in advance, he can arrange the services of our cook/maid who will do the cooking and cleaning for you for 200Dh per day to pay him directly. Be careful, it's to cook (Moroccan), not to do the shopping. You need to provide the ingredients, and it's not complicated. There are two grocers for basics in the village. There are 10/15 minutes (Ghazoa) small shops and even a supermarket. There is even in Essaouira (20/25 minutes) even a hypermarket of a French sign that has a well-stocked "liquids" radius and not only orange juice and flat water, if you are interested. Food isn't expensive if you eat local food. Also, nothing prevents you from buying the fresh fish from the fishermen who come in past the house after picking up their nets in the morning. Sounds complicated like that, but once you're there, you'll see, it's simple like hello. There's also a hammam. As wood is a rare commodity in Morocco and it is necessary to gloves of hair and black soap, everything can be provided but you have to contribute 300Dh per hammam. Our concierge is the key person to your stay. He has his heart on his hand and will do everything to help you even if it is not normally his job. Please don't abuse her kindness, and don't forget to leave her something before you leave after having a great stay. Other things to note The riad has no target clientele, it is located in a small peaceful village, and it has to stay that way. As the house is large and it is an excellent value for money, it can arouse interest for big spring break type parties, bachelor party, student weekend etc... with booze, full music and other illegal local substances. PLEASE pass your way, first the house is not made for that, and then if that is your program you have completely wrong place, there is downright better elsewhere in Morocco!!! The type of clientele we have is more like families and/or groups of friends, with or without children who come to enjoy the region's outdoor and cultural activities while feeling comfortable at home without stress. And it's still going smoothly.
