Luxury Woodland Alder Lodge

Set below the Ben Lawers and Tarmachan mountain ranges close to the spectacular Loch Tay, the self-catering Alder Lodge (located at Killin Log Cabins) is perfectly positioned within peaceful and tranquil surroundings consisting of waterfalls, streams and woodlands. Wildlife is in abundance whether it be red deer, red squirrels, birds and so much more. You may even catch a glimpse of the local ospreys and other birds of prey. The space The Alder Lodge is a luxury 4 star lodge which sleeps 4. This is a well-equipped lodge which is perfect for families. It has open southerly views to the hills around Loch Tay. This lodge has 2 bedrooms; one with a super-king bed (which can be split into singles if requested at the time of booking) and a double bedroom with ensuite. The bedrooms have space also for a travel cot if required. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster/kettle. The dining area comfortably sits 4. There's a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area, with a wood-burning stove, two large settees, flat screen TV, Free sat box, Blueray/DVD player, and a CD player. A brick built barbeque is adjacent to the lodge and the private raised decking area provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining or relaxing. All linen is provided and all beds made up for arrival. Please bring your own towels. These can be hired (£5 per pack) if required (See 'Other details to note'). This lodge has been fitted with a token operated electricity meter. This helps to reduce our carbon footprint and helps manage energy wastage. The power tariff based on the length of stay is a mandatory cost which is settled on arrival. We provide a free wifi service to our guests and our wifi can be picked up in most areas of our park. Mobile phone networks EE/O2/Vodafone also provide a good coverage. Guest access Guests will have full access to the Alder Lodge and the surrounding gardens and gounds during their stay. Other things to note Mandatory charges - Electricity and gas – a power tariff applies and is paid on arrival. Optional charges includes the following: - The lodge is pet-friendly and the following charges apply – GBP 30 per pet for stays of up to 4 days / GBP 40 per pet for 5+ days / per week. - Logs & refills for the wood-burning stove must be purchased on-site. We provide properly seasoned logs which give long burn times and guarantees the quality for safe usage of the stove. - Cots - GBP 7 per stay - High chairs - GBP 5 per stay - Towels are not provided but can be hired for GBP 5 per pack. - Short breaks (min 2 nights) and full weeks are available. - Please bring your own towels.
