The Manor Cottage is a pet friendly, newly renovated cottage on the same stand as the main house, situated in a tranquil cul de sac in the beautiful seaside village of Umzumbe. Surrounded by coastal bush, enjoy the monkeys, buck and bird life from the cottage deck while having your morning coffee or a sundowner. The space We are 5 minutes walk to the Umzumbe Blue Flag beach which is great for surfing , fishing or just lazing around catching some sun. If you fancy something a bit more adventurous we have the Oribi Gorge 45min away. Go for a hike to the waterfall or enjoy the Wild 5 Gorge Swing and Lake Eland Zipline. If you are into Scuba diving we have some of the best diving spots the KZN coast has to offer on our doorstep, Aliwal Shoal off Umkomaas and Protea Banks off Shelly Beach . If your thing is Yoga you can join a class at the Mantis and Moon Yoga Studio just a short walk down the road. For golfers the Port Shepstone Country Club is 17km, with Southbroom and Selborne courses a short drive away. The open plan two bedroom cottage has its own private entrance and private parking for 2 cars. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second has twin beds, sleeping a total of 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped. The living room has comfortable sofas, TV with basic DSTV and an inside dining area. The bathroom has a shower and we provide bath towels. There is an outside shower for rinsing off from the beach or for those hot days when all you need is a cool shower. The front deck overlooks the garden and surrounding bush and there is a paved area out the back with a braai and sitting area, perfect for catching the afternoon sun sets. We are happy for your dogs to come and join you on your weekend away and spend time with their humans. The beach is great for long walks and plenty of rock pools for them to swim. Please let us know in advance should you want to bring your dogs as only small/medium size well behaved, socialized dogs will be allowed as we have 3 of our own. We do not provide beach towels
