The town is located in the western border of the Ria Formosa Natural Parque inside the “Golden Triangle” of Algarve. Despite being a rather small town, it includes several historical details, a number of relevant buildings and a pleasant environment. It also counts with a number of peaceful streets and typical houses present inside the historical center of Almancil. The national street EN 125 which runs between Faro e Albufeira can take us to Almancil, located only a few minutes by car from the International airport of Faro. The highway A22 is also an option if you are looking for a way to get near Almancil.
