The space The Starfish comprises the main and upper level of a newly-built, traditional style 'Biscuit Box' home that faces the Atlantic Ocean. Built on family land, and according to ancient principles of Classical Feng Shui, The Starfish is a peaceful and soothing haven for all who stay. The Starfish is a five-bedroom home that sleeps 12 people comfortably. The Starfish is a bright and cheerful holiday home that offers refined coastal charm and casual elegance. Unique and wonderful works of local artisans, craftsmen and authors can be found throughout. Although the home is beautifully decorated, it is completely family-friendly with durable finishes and furnishings. Guest access As you enter The Starfish, a cheerful foyer welcomes you to your private, seaside home with breathtaking views of the North Atlantic Ocean. Elegant picture and transom windows bathe the home with light and offer an unobstructed, panoramic view of the ocean, little towns across the Bay, Bell Island and Kellys Island, as well as the T'Railway that leads along the shoreline of Conception Bay South. The Starfish has a spacious, open-concept living area, designed for casual enjoyment. The classically-styled, solid wood kitchen has an impressive island that provides the perfect place for gathering over food with friends and family. As well, there is a pretty and welcoming window seat for settling in to enjoy the delicious scenery, a good book and a cup of tea. The inviting living room is a comfortable place to relax and reflect after a wonderfully adventurous and fun day. With large sectional sofa, a Smart HD television and electric fireplace, it provides all the familiar comforts of home entertainment and relaxation. For outside enjoyment, you have access off the kitchen to a large deck with dining table and chairs and a large barbecue. It is the perfect place to celebrate life as you luxuriate in views of the expansive sky and ocean. Sharing stories over a BBQ and beverages is sure to create meaningful memories to last a lifetime. On the main floor there is also a large mudroom with laundry where you can store and refresh your belongings as well as a half bath. Finally, there is a bedroom with two pretty daybeds with roll-out trundles beneath. This is a great space to accomodate four guests for sleeping or for those seeking moments of solitude and rest amidst the fun. Upstairs at The Starfish, you will find four charming bedrooms, each with incredible views of the ocean, new, comfortable beds, luxurious linens and ample clothes storage. The Master with king-size bed has the loveliest of bathrooms with a standalone, soaker tub that overlooks the ocean, as well as separate shower and all the essentials of self-care. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed while the third and fouth bedrooms each have a full-size bed. These bedrooms share a bright, pretty full bathroom. Also on the top floor, is a large linen closet with additional towels and bedding to suit your particular needs and preferences.
