Cosy Apartment by the Marais de Bourges

Hope you will enjoy staying at my place! Located 5 minutes walking distance from the historical center, my apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay in Bourges. A fully equipped kitchen will allow you to cook the local products from the numerous farmer markets around. The space * Location: perfect base to explore the historical center, the cathedral and shopping areas. You are 400 meters (5 minutes walking distance) from the city center (place Gordaine), from a covered farmer market (Le marché des halles), and from a grocery store (Carrefour City). There are also small shops and restaurants in the street. * Marais de Bourges: My favorite secrete garden (small plots surrounded by small canals) is located right behind my apartment. Perfect for a relaxing and quiet walk. * Fully equipped kitchen: If you like cooking, the kitchen is fully equipped and you are more than welcome to the spice and condiments. * Experience sleeping in a middle-age building. I renovated the old ceramic "tomettes" and the exposed beam (original) which gives a nice character to the place. The walls are painted with lime and natural pigment. * Free parking: if you are traveling, it is easy to find free parking in the street behind my place. The things to be aware of before booking: * No tv :) * The building is historical and not very well * sound * insulated, it might not be the best place for you if you are looking for a quiet retreat. You will hear the traffic during the day but it is usually quiet during the week end and at night. * Accessibility: My apartment is on the first floor and the stairs are fairly steep Guest access You will have access to the totality of my appartement (main room, kitchen and bathroom). Other things to note I mentioned the check in time starting at 5pm as I want to be sure everything is ready for when you arrive. But generally the place is set before that. Just message me with your ideal arrival time if it is before 5pm and I'll see if it is possible. Same for the check out time, I did put 11am but if you need to check out later I will check if it is possible. I try to accommodate both my guests and the person doing the cleaning when I am away but check-out is usually flexible.
