The Garden House

The Garden House is an upmarket, modern home.It is located half way between Dublin and Belfast, just off the A2, making it a great base to explore. It is in beautiful, quite countryside , overlooking Carlingford Lough and the Mourne Mountains.It is a ten minute drive into Warrenpoint and Rostrevor.There is lots to do , from hill walking, mountain biking in nearby Kilbroney park, golf, tennis, water sports, shopping , dining out or attending festivals.Or simply chill and switch off. The space The accommodation comprises of an open plan living room, with both separate dining table and also a breakfast bar and stools. There are large panoramic windows on each side of the living area, providing breath taking views of the neighbouring countryside, mountains and sea beyond. There are patio tables and chairs outside to take in the view.There is only one bathroom and this is accessed through the downstairs bedroom, therefore important to take this on board when booking. We do not take large party bookings or groups . Please note, We do not allow additional guests to stay who are not on original booking request. Guest access Access to The Garden House is via a separate gate off the concrete lane , up through to the top of the field directly to the accommodation, adjacent to the main house. Other things to note There is no WiFi within the property but good 4g locally. Due to proximity to farm livestock in nearby fields and adjacent to the Host’s home , the holiday home is not suitable for hen, stag or large gatherings. We do not accept additional guests. The Garden House is next to our family home and animals, therefore we do not encourage additional guests to gather there, who are not residents. There is one bathroom, which is shared by all guests.
