Lake Maggiore with fantastic panoramic views

The approximately 300-year-old, extraordinary house is located on the west coast of Lake Maggiore, about 200 m above the lake in a very original, romantic mountain village with a small, friendly village community. The space The house has 4 bedrooms on two floors and a total of about 100 m² of living space (including a children's room as a passage room with 2 single beds each 0.80 m wide, as well as 3 double beds between 1.30 and 1.40 m), a bathroom, a lounge with living and dining area, a terrace with panoramic lake view and a garden. The antique terracotta stone floor and fresco ceilings give the house a rustic flair. Dishwasher, washing machine, satellite TV, DVD and CD player are part of the amenities. There is no Wi-Fi. You can reach the village by car via a wooded, partly steep serpentine road, which is easy to manage with a skilled driving style on the mountain. On foot, you can reach the house via a forest hiking trail in about 40 minutes from Cannero Riviera. The village itself is car-free. The car is parked in the parking lot at the entrance to the village. From there, it is then a walk past the church to the end of the village (about 250 m). Luggage and purchases can be transported with the wheelbarrow that belongs to the house. In the village there is no shopping or restaurants. The ascent via three stairs to the house is rewarded with a heavenly view of mountains, lake and wide sky. Due to the hillside location and the sometimes steep steps to and in the house, seniors and people with walking difficulties should inquire more closely with us whether the property would be suitable for them as a vacation destination. Bed linen is sufficiently available in the house, but the beds must be made by the guests (and please also removed at the end). For babies / toddlers there is a stair high chair (similar to TrippTrapp), a closed high chair, a children's travel bed (with mattress and bedding), an extra bed, a potty, a toilet seat reduction and a stool to put on it. The house has no central heating. It is only used in the warm months, so this is usually not a problem. Since it can be cool in the transitional periods, we offer guests the use of our mobile gas heating in the living room, sharing the cost. There is a fan heater in the bathroom. Hot water is available thanks to a gas boiler. Other things to note The municipality of Cannero Riviera charges a tourist tax of €1.00 per night and per guest over the age of 6. We are committed to registering you with the municipality and require the names and dates of birth of all travelers. We will charge the money separately and pay it to the municipality.
