Maxwell House~walk, shop & play

Maxwell House is a two bedroom apartment available for rent, each with king bed, walk-in closet and private bathroom. There is a kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, toaster oven & more. Enjoy a private patio and barbecue and just a 5 minute walk to the river! There is currently a longer term guest staying in the daylight basement of my home with her well-trained and behaved dog. He is cautious of new people at first, but warms up quickly. The space The space is a private apartment featuring two bedrooms each with it's own king bed, bathroom and walk-in closet. The apartment suite is built onto the side of a historic 1930 house that originally served as a general store to Bend's mill workers in the 30's and 40's. There are two separate rooms to rent in the Maxwell House. The common room has a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, coffee pot, toaster oven, toaster and most everything needed for simple meals. The patio has it's own table, chairs and barbecue. Maxwell House is located in a beautiful neighborhood overlooking the Deschutes River and Old Mill District. It is a short walk down the hill to all the river activities, dining, nightlife, entertainment, parks and trails. Also, a very short 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk to downtown Bend. There is easy access to the Parkway (Hwy 97) and the Southern Bridge, the gateway to the Cascade Lakes Hwy and Mt. Bachelor. Enjoy your morning coffee on the private patio or relax on the shared deck with a glass of wine or one of Bend's famous craft brews. Guest access Maxwell House will be your private space with a private entrance. The hallway connecting to my home leads to the laundry room which is available with permission. This is also the access to the daylight basement occupied by my longer term tenant. There is also a private patio for your use.
