Cottage by the water on the John Muir Way

Coastal mid-19th Century fisherman's cottages (2 houses converted into one dwelling). We are located on the Firth of Forth, just off main road, with 24 hour bus services into Edinburgh (35-45 mins to centre). Short walk to railway station. Frequent trains into Edinburgh (13 minutes to city centre). East Lothian is an area of natural coastal and rural beauty. Many popular outdoor activities, including bird watching, golfing, open water swimming, cycling, walking etc We warmly welcome everyone. The space Modernised mid-19th century house with central heating and double glazing. The double bedroom on first floor. Shared bathroom is downstairs. Continental style breakfast is downstairs in dining kitchen. There is a patio area at the side of the house to sit out in (a suntrap on those Scottish sunny days!). Any time of year the views out across the Firth of Forth are quite breath-taking. The sound of the sea can be heard from the bedroom... Guest access Use of washing machine and tumble dryer. Use of all kitchen facilities. During your stay We are available from 7pm until midnight every evening and between 7am- 8am on weekdays and throughout the weekends. Other things to note We have 2 friendly house cats. No other pets welcome.
