Restored attractive 2 storey c1900 cottage in the beautiful grounds of Historic Scotland listed Bendameer House. Tastefully decorated, well equipped, comfy beds & quality linen. Extensive gardens & outdoor space - fire pit, barbecue, swings, trampoline & playhouse. Hot tub with beautiful views to Edinburgh - additional £10 per day of your stay. Pre- arrival advance notice of 24 hours is required (for heating). Come, relax and enjoy our amazing views across the Firth of Forth to Edinburgh. The space Comfortable, open and flexible space. Down cushions and cozy throws in living room. Lots of outdoor space - huge garden with swings, hot tub (see note above) vegetables, hens etc. Decoration - whites with muted blues and beige. Comfortable and cosy with all familiar home comforts. Quality bedding and towels supplied. Fire pit, barbecue and outdoor seating- one basket of logs provided. More logs available for a small charge. Please note that the bathroom is on the ground floor. Guest access Everything, including adjoining woodland. Other things to note Due to the time taken for housekeeping between guests it is difficult to allow late check out or early check in. Please note that the hot tub guide in the cottage should be followed in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Please also be aware that there is now a charge to use the hot tub due to recent massive increases in energy costs. We now have high speed fibre broadband but it should be noted that phone signal can still occasionally be patchy.
