Coach House Backwell

The Coach House is a large 2 bedroom cottage situated in the spacious courtyard and grounds of a Grade II listed 17th century house. It is located in the attractive West Town Conservation area of Backwell, close to village shops and amenities and a pub serving food 200m away. The village of Backwell is just 7 miles south west of Bristol, 15 mins by car, with excellent bus and train links. Whilst new to Airbnb it has been a 4 star holiday let since 2003. The space The accommodation comprises of a large, light and spacious open plan dining and living area with a well equipped kitchen, with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave to one end. There is a fireplace with a cast iron ‘woodburner’ (gas controlled) and a solid oak floor. Upstairs there are 2 carpeted bedrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room with wc and basin, a double bed and a large built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and there is a separate family bathroom with wc and basin. The landing has further cupboards with hanging space and shelves and storage for suitcases etc. Old stone cottages, like the Coach House, built well over a hundred years ago, are for the most part charming and full of character. However, they have been built before the days of damp proofing and cavity insulation, therefore the occasional damp patch may appear. Please help us to avoid this by allowing air to circulate by opening windows and external and internal doors when you can and keep condensation to a minimum by opening blinds and curtains during the day.
