This cosy one bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of Reading's Georgian quarter, right next to the city centre (less than 10 minutes walk to the Oracle). Situated on the 3rd floor (no apartments above), and utilising the corner of this historic 1850's building, the apartment has dual views over the scenic Castle Hill and guests can admire the local architecture. The apartment boasts a king size bed, sofa, 43" Smart TV, and a washer/dryer. Guests can self check-in. Welcome to Reading! The space About the Wifi...We have upgraded the internet to full Virgin broadband with speeds over 300mbps, so please disregard the review about slow wifi. that was before the upgrade. Thankyou. This apartment comprises: - An entrance hall with shoe rack - Bathroom with shower, w/c, and sink - Living room with sofa and 43" Smart TV, plus WiFi (300mbps Fibre), please note there are no TV channels but can be used for YouTube, and any TV app if you have an account (Netflix etc) - Bedroom with a King size bed, reading lamp, and large storage space. Full bedding, towels, and toiletries are provided - Kitchen with Cooker, worktops, sink and drainer, washing and drying machine, and a desk/table with two chairs Other things to note We have upgraded the internet to full Virgin broadband with speeds over 300mbps, so please disregard the review about slow wifi. that was before the upgrade. Some guests expect a full set of TV channels. We don't provide a full TV service, the TV is there for guests to connect their computer to or to use on demand apps like YouTube and Netflix etc. Please note guests will need to use their own login for Netflix and please do remember to log out of any signed in accounts before checkout. This apartment is in a building that is not new, it was built in 1850, hence why it's in the historic Georgian quarter (a very nice part of Reading centre). If you prefer a new build condo with concrete walls and perfect square edges on your door frames etc, this apartment may not be for you :) Finally, guests without reviews may be asked to provide proof of local work or attendance at the University etc. Thank you.
