Winterfell Hakuba Lodge with 7 guest rooms is located in the heart of Japanese Northern Alps, on the sunny side of Iwatake ski area, overlooking spectacular Happo-one ski slopes. The house is spacious and convenient with large living room, fireplace, terrace viewing over the Hakuba valley, kitchen with all you need for cooking and kid's playroom. Hakuba ski slopes are just 5 to 10 minutes drive from the house. In summer, you can enjoy hiking, cycling, fishing or just relax in beautiful Nagano. The space In our suite room you will find 2 rooms: the 1st room has 2 single beds and a bunk bed, the 2nd room has bunk bed and a sofa. Perfect relaxation area. Rooms are connected to each other. They also share private bathroom and washroom, which is between the two rooms. The 1st room has breathtaking view on Happone ski slopes. There is a large wardrobe, shelves and small fridge in the room, which make it perfect for big family with kids or for big company of friends travelling together. Guest can access communal kitchen with different amenities. Breakfast is not included, but in the morning we have free coffee self-service till 10 am. Tea and hot water are available during all day. We also provide breakfast for fee on request. Separate kids area, where children can enjoy TV, DVD and plenty of toys. Spacious lounge with indoor fireplace and spectacular view of mountains. Rental of ski & snowboard gear and equipment is available. Guest access 1. Arrival and Check-n Check in time is after 15pm. If you are coming by car, please park your car to the left from the front door using parking space efficiently as other guest may come by cars later. You will find the key for the lower entrance door at the locker, the code will be informed upon booking. After entering the house you will see shoe lockers to the left. Please put your shoes in your shoe locker. Guest rooms are on the 2nd floor, please go up the stairs , turn to the right and you will find the rooms. The number of bedrooms that you can use will be decided upon information of your booking. Rooms keys will be on the front desk on the 1st floor. Towels are in the room. 2. Kitchen Communal kitchen is on the 1st floor. You can use all the amenities. Please do not forget to wash the dishes and surfaces after yourself. Tea box is free and please use it. Coffee machine is next to home bakery. It is also free for morning cofffee. Nespresso Machine is also available. One capsule is 200 yen. Please put the money into the coin box. Cups, plates and dishes are in the kitchen - you can use whichever you want. We have 2 gas stoves, which are for general guests use. PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES AND CLEAN THE KITCHEN PLACE after you prepare your meal. Tap water is drinkable. 3. Kids playroom is also on the first floor next to the kitchen. Please clean the room after use by putting toys back to their shelves. Toys must stay at kids playroom and please do not bring them to living or dining. 4. Dining room is for communal use . After use please clean the tables and remove dishes to the kitchen. You can use it anytime, but please respect night hours (11pm to 6 am) During winter hours, diining heaters are set for 12 degrees, you can easily put up the temperature if you need it. When leaving the dining room: put the wall heater to 12 degrees central heater must be switched off lights are switched off (lights switch is situated on the wall near the entrance to dining) Balcony may be used any time when you need it, but please do not let the kids to be there alone. 5. Washrooms We have washrooms on 1st floor, 2nd floor and near kids playroom. You also have ensuite washroom and bathroom in your room. 6. Laundry is situated on the 1st floor next to washroom One washing and drying cycle is 1000 yen. Fresh towels are also in the laundry. You can change your towels for fresh ones during your stay if you need. 7. Drying room is located next to exit. Please use it for drying your clothes after skiing or snowboarding. You can store your ski and snowboard gear near the house entrance (on the stairs, any convenient place for you) 8.WI-FI Free Wi-Fi networks are Winterfell 1 and Winterfell 2. We often use contactless check in and check out in order to prevent spread of corona virus, but our staff is around. I hope you will have great and relaxed stay in Winterfell and Hakuba! Duplex room is not for stay with dogs. If you want to bring your dog, please ask during reservation. We have got two guest rooms which are dog-friendly.
