Le Poirier is a spacious (60 sqm) cottage blending authentic charm and character with modern comforts and amenities. Ideal for 2 but can accommodate up to 4 comfortably. Ground floor: main bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room. Upstairs: 1 double bed on the mezzanine. All linen and bathroom towels provided. The private terrace is equipped with table, chairs & parasol overlooking the amazing heated pool and countryside beyond. Sorry no pets. The space Kitchen and dining There is a well-equipped open plan kitchen dining area which opens out directly onto the private terrace overlooking the pool and countryside beyond. Good quality fixtures and fittings including an electric fan oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer and washing machine. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for a short break or longer holiday. Living room The spacious, open plan, double height living room has original oak beams and exposed stone walls. It has been tastefully decorated throughout with tiled and wooden flooring . The living room opens out onto the private terrace overlooking the amazing heated pool. Bedroom The ground floor bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers and a wardrobe. It has it's own separate door opening onto the private terrace overlooking the amazing pool and countryside beyond. A second bedroom with 2 single beds can be found upstairs on the mezzanine. Bathroom The modern bathroom is equipped with a full size bath with shower over the bath. Heating The gite is double glazed throughout and there is a woodburner in the open plan living kitchen area which heats the whole gite. There are also electric wall heaters in every room if needed. Guest access Entertainment: Fast, free Wi-Fi. Smart TV. Play petanque/boules on the purpose built pitch under the magnificent oak tree. Boardgames, cards, books etc in the gite. Picturesque walking and cycling tracks straight from the door. Garden and outside: The grounds around the gite have been landscaped to enhance the beauty of the natural countryside around the property. The range of flowers, shrubs and trees attract an abundance of wildlife, including swallows, owls, bats, buzzards, kestrels, humming bird moths, numerous butterflies, moths, lizards and geckos. Other things to note The property is NOT suitable for infants and children under 12 years old. Sorry we cannot accept pets as we have 2 rescue cats. The pool is shared with guests from the neighbouring gite and occasional guests in the B&B. The maximum number of guests allowed on the property is 13. There is plenty of space around the pool and grounds to socially distance. Guests must bring own pool towels.
