Rocky Waters is both a seaside holiday home and a tranquil treehouse retreat. Extremely luxurious, spacious, architect designed waterside home with large, enclosed & private gardens on all sides. The elevated position & huge windows flood the house with light and offer panoramic views of the creek, village & valley. Multiple seating areas outside and in, handmade chef's kitchen, log burner, designer furnishings & underfloor heating. Small well behaved dogs accommodated, please ask. WiFi 70 mbps. The space Rocky Waters is a much loved and extremely luxurious holiday home which sleeps 7, in a wonderful position on Port Navas Creek part of the Helford estuary. Rocky is furnished to the highest specification and fully equipped with everything you might need. The house has a wonderful elevated position with views of Port Navas Creek from the front and the village and valley to the back. Beutifual gardens wrap around the property with a small private woodland leading down to the foreshore. With a slipway 100m from the house and tons of space both inside and out, it's the perfect base for kayaking or sailing or for walking, reading and simply relaxing whilst enjoying complete peace & privacy in this stunning Cornish seaside village. A very spacious property with huge windows and doors on every side designed to make the most of the wonderful views and let the light flood in. Ellie our wonderful housekeeper keeps Rocky in immaculate order and will prepare a wonderful welcome tray for you as well as making sure the house is prepared to a hotel standard for your arrival with fresh flowers and a fire laid in the huge log burning stove in case of chillier evenings. Rocky offers sunny seating areas on every side. In the morning, the covered veranda overlooking the pretty front garden is a sun-trap, extremely comfortable outdoor armchairs with cushions and throws make this the perfect spot for morning coffee. From lunchtime the cushioned outdoor sofa in the back garden and the side terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs are wonderful places to enjoy the sunshine. The large totally private terraced back garden with herbaceous borders is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the tranquility and birdsong. This is also the perfect space to get cosy in the autumn and winter with a huge log burner as well as underfloor heating throughout. There are two extremely comfortable, large seating areas in an open plan design to either side of a handmade oak kitchen With Miele fridge, oven and hob as well as a walk in larder, the handmade George Robinson kitchen has everything you could possibly need right down to cake tins and ice lolly makers. The kitchen and seating area to the front of the house overlook the creek, both lead out onto a fabulous covered veranda which captures the morning sunshine. The second seating area leads out to a large terrace with dining area overlooking the village rooftops. The dining area seating six is positioned to enjoy the wonderful treetop views There are three extremely comfortable bedrooms Master bedroom - Kingsize Vispring bed with ensuite bath & shower room Second bedroom with Kingsize Visprung bed and partial creek views. Third bedroom - Charming and spacious with lovely garden views. I have just updated this room with a fantastic zip and link bed which can either be set up as a super kingsize double or as two singles. There is also a cute almost full size pull out single bed which can be used either when the bed is set up as a double or as the two singles. There is a further shower room as well as a utility room with a Miele washing machine, Miele tumble drier, an iron and ironing board and a small convenient freezer. To the rear of the property is a substantial terraced garden with lawns and herbaceous borders. The garden is completely private and has an outdoor sofa which catches all the afternoon sun. The garden is fenced and secure for dogs. The house and garden are both full of treats - books, jigsaws, games and toys. The garden has lavender edged paths and herbaceous borders carefully planted so that there are flowers in every season. Rocky is perfect for exploring this area of outstanding natural beauty by water - the best way to experience the wonderful wildlife of the area. Kayaks, canoes, paddle-boards and boats can all be hired from Helford River Boats, 10 minutes away by water. Guest moorings at the Port Navas Yacht Club can be rented by the night. Please feel free to bring your own watersports equipment or bikes. Rocky has private parking for up to 3 vehicles and plenty of outdoor space to store a dingy, canoes, kayaks .... Rocky is a very flexible property which can be a happy holiday home for a family trip, a perfect base for walkers, sailors or cyclists or a peaceful haven for a relaxing retreat. Nature lovers love the famous gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan nearby. Bird lovers enjoy the birdlife in the treetops both up at the house and down on the water - kingfishers and curlews are regulars and there is a pair of resident and vocal Tawny Owls. Writers and artists find inspiration in the Cornish light and the stunning natural surroundings that inspired Daphne Du Maurier, Rosamunde Pilcher and Winston Graham. Food and drink lovers have a wealth of wonderful restaurants and artisan producers on their doorstep. Since I have been renting Rocky I have received some lovely comments from guests "From the moment we arrived, we knew we would be happy here. We have never relaxed so much on a holiday, it's been fantastic", "super, immaculate with lovely furnishings and equipment" and "the nicest holiday home we have ever stayed in".
