Latordicella B&B with pool

We have THREE double bedrooms and ONE small house in the woods. The cottage can be booked on the "Latordicella Glamping" listing On the first floor, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom for their exclusive use, on the ground floor a third bedroom with a second bathroom. The house is 20 meters away. You can use the kitchen and/or barbecue at an extra cost. In addition, a catering/break time service is available. Tourist tax €2.00 on the reservation to be paid at the B&B. The space The LATORDICELLA B&B is a charming little house on three levels, with thick sandstone walls, dating back to the 19th century, renovated with love and dedication to the old. Immersed in the quiet and silence of the wooded hills of the Santerno river valley, it is located 510 meters above sea level on the slopes of the mountain of the beautiful church of Valmaggiore, in front of the ruins of Cantagallo and 6 km from the characteristic village of Castel del Rio, in the land of Romagna on the border with Tuscany. To reach it, you have to travel a short stretch of gravel road in the middle of the woods. Guest access During your stay, you can enjoy exclusive access to a number of wonderful areas of the property. The beautiful pool, with a waterfall-like infinity side, offers a breathtaking view of the valley and includes a whirlpool, water blade, waterfall, and counter-current swimming. You can relax on the comfortable loungers of the belvedere or move to the living room of the rear porch for moments of relaxation. Under the shade of a centuries-old oak tree, the intimate balcony is perfect for an afternoon nap or for reading a book from our well-stocked library. Nature lovers can choose to lounge in one of the hammocks in the woods or stroll through the beautiful surrounding pine forest. Towards evening, the aperitif area of the panoramic belvedere or the poolside are ideal for admiring unforgettable sunsets. For those seeking solitude and reflection, the "Pensatoio" offers a magical secluded place overlooking the valley, guaranteeing a unique view. The main porch, completely glazed, is the heart of the house, where you can chat or read while waiting to dine around the large table. Sports enthusiasts will find a ping pong table and an area dedicated to archery up to 30 meters, ensuring a stay full of activities and relaxation. During your stay As the B&B is located in my home, I am always available to provide any information you may need. I provide a brochure with thematic sheets that illustrate the various trekking routes and sites of historical and cultural interest in the area. Other things to note LATORDICELLA is immersed in nature, with a high degree of both naturalistic and wildlife biodiversity, extending over 10 hectares. This independent house, although isolated, is only 900 meters from the nearest house and 6 km from the village, guaranteeing total privacy. The property, small and cozy, is cared for in every detail, offering the feeling of being in your own private holiday home rather than in a large agritourism facility. The view of the valley below is breathtaking, with a unique sunset and no visual obstacles. In front of the belvedere is a castle ruin and a medieval watchtower, evocatively illuminated even at night. A large pine forest below the house is ideal for short walks, naps, and relaxing reading on the hammocks. LATORDICELLA is part of the Municipality of Castel del Rio, the most characteristic tourist and historical town in the Santerno valley, known for the Palazzo and Ponte degli Alidosi, the IGP-branded chestnuts, the war museum, and the countless festivals and fairs. The Santerno river offers bars, restaurants, and a picnic area with the possibility of bathing in pristine places. In addition, LATORDICELLA is an ideal starting point for various CAI hiking and mountain biking routes, and to visit numerous tourist sites such as the church of Valmaggiore with its characteristic glass roof, located on the ridge just 2 km from the B&B and reachable on foot in a few minutes. Historically, in 1506, Pope Julius II passed through here on his way from Florence to conquer the Bentivoglio family of Bologna. Other places of interest include the ruins of Cantagallo Castle, the famous Monte Battaglia Castle with a 360° panoramic view, Monte la Fine, the Vena del Gesso Park near Imola, and other unspoiled areas beyond the Tuscan border such as the ghost town of Castiglioncello a Moraduccio with the Rio dei Briganti waterfall, Casette di Tiare, Badia di Moscheta, the Giogo Pass, and the large German cemetery near the Futa Pass.
