Maypool Lodge Apartment in a self contained space on the ground floor within part of a historic country house that sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The interior space has recently been refurbished and it has access to a pretty courtyard which catches the afternoon sun. This is a very old home and comes with some of the expected character and quirks. The property is surrounded by woodland which adjoins the estate of National Trust's Agatha Christie's house Greenway. The space There is one Queen bedroom and one 2 x twin bedroom. One bathroom with shower over the bath and a lounge / dining space. The kitchen has a full oven and stove top, dishwasher, fridge freezer. There is space in your private courtyard to sit outside either in wicker chairs or at the wooden dining table. Guest access Guests will have full use of the courtyard and apartment to themselves. Other things to note Please note there is wide small steps down to the apartment from the parking area - see photo Also to note - we do not say we have a TV as the TV is HDMI connection only, the HDMI cable is supplied so you can hook up your laptop and watch movies or programmes from your own device. This apartment is designed for those wanting to explore the area, walking, on the river, beaches, historic places to visit and assumes most visitors will not mainly be watching TV... so this can be used for streaming online TV or movies in the evening via your own device and using our wifi. We have been having a lot of issues with our wifi lately due to the service provider. We use local cell towers for this and have had some issues with internet service coming and going as well as weather affecting the signal. As a result, please do not book this apartment if you need to do frequent Zoom meetings or online work using our wifi only, as this may be unreliable and frustrating for you. There are many nice local places to sit and work with reliable internet which we can recommend for you as needed.
