Airy flat right next to the beautiful royal Holyrood Park, 650 acres of wide open space and a 5 minute walk to Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the Scottish Parliament, the Royal Mile and the rest of Edinburgh's historic old town. 15 minutes walk from the main train station (5 min taxi) and an easy walk to Edinburgh Castle and the city centre. The space An attractive second floor two bedroom flat within a modern, peaceful apartment block with light and spacious stairways and a secure entrance. LIVING ROOM: The airy living room has French doors looking out over the communal garden. There are sofas, a TV and a dining table and four chairs. There are also some books and games for you to use, as well as a couple of guidebooks and maps and leaflets for things to do in Edinburgh. We have unlimited fibre broadband. KITCHEN: The kitchen is off the living room and has everything you need for your stay, including toaster, kettle, cafetiere, filter coffee machine, cooker with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. There is tea, coffee and cereals for you to enjoy. BEDROOMS: There are two bright double bedrooms with bed-side tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe each. There's an iron, ironing board, clothes airer, hangers and a hairdryer. All bedding, bed linen and towels are provided. In bedroom 1, there are two single beds which can be turned into a king size bed if requested. In bedroom 2, there is one double bed. BATHROOM: The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bubble bath, hand soap and ear plugs are provided. CHILDREN: We have a travel cot and a highchair for guests to use. *Cleaning* We are following Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: - We sanitise high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob - We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies -We wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination - We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists - We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines - We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay Additionally, the communal stairway is cleaned weekly by a professional cleaning company. Guest access The apartment complex is very safe for families - it's a quiet cul-de-sac off a quiet residential dead-end street with very little traffic, and there is a bit of outside space for children to run about, although two minutes walk and you'll be in the wide open spaces of Holyrood Park where there's all the space you want! 650 acres including duck ponds, crags and Arthur's Seat (the mountain in the middle of Edinburgh). Other things to note Please note that the flat is next to a railway line so you can hear trains passing, but most of our guests don't find it a problem.
