Haven on the Bay hosts a well-equipped full-size kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, Keurig coffee station and a toaster. You will find the essentials for cooking provided, such as pots and pans, utensils and spices. Downstairs, there is a stackable washer & dryer and a bathroom with walk in shower. Upstairs in the loft there is a comfortable king size bed and a pull-out sleeper couch. Another pull-out sleeper couch is downstairs if needed. Off of the living room you can access the private deck. Beachfront you will find another relaxing platform deck and also the firepit for your enjoyment. The hot tub is located off of the driveway and faces out towards a freshwater pond, remember to pack your suits! There is Wi-Fi, internet access and TV. You will have access to your own private and secluded 900 square foot apartment space, as well as 130' of private beachfront. We are readily available by phone, text or email. We also enjoy meeting and getting to know our guest. The home is located on a private beach with 130 feet of low-bank waterfront on Lummi Island. Walk, paddle, hike, bike and adventure while you are here. **Please take note: Spring ferry dry dock** The 2024 dates are May 18th - June 15th Every year our ferry, the Whatcom Chief, goes into dry dock for maintenance at a shipyard. Since there is no substitute ferry, this means we have a foot passenger service only (you can bring a bike across). Check the Whatcom County website for official updates and information. For our guests we offer an exclusive and secure parking space on the mainland for your vehicle. There is a shuttle service provided on the island, or connect with us about our dry dock vehicle access. This is a wonderful time for biking and walking, as the vehicle traffic is so low during this time! Ferry Info Please visit Whatcom County ferry to check out the ferry schedule. The ferry runs daily from 5:40 am – 12:00 am. Weekends 7:00 am – 12:00 am. Those 18 and under are free. Where to find Chambers Haven 4164 Legoe Bay Road Yale App - you will need to download the Yale app to receive your personalized keypad code to gain entrance upon your arrival. Directions from Bellingham: While travelling north bound I-5, take the Slater Road exit. Follow the traffic circle and take the 3rd exit to head west, continuing on Slater Road. Travel on Slater Road for 3.5 miles and at the stoplight at Haxton Way, turn left. The Silver Reef Casino will be on your left side. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Haxton Way. At the 2nd traffic circle, continue straight and stay on Haxton Way again. Follow this road for a couple of miles until it opens up to the water. Turn right to the ferry landing (Gooseberry Point). Take the Whatcom Chief Ferry to Lummi Island. This is a 5-7 minute ferry ride. Off load from the ferry and turn left on S Nugent Road. Turn Right on Legoe Bay Road. Travel a little over a mile and 4164 Legoe Bay Road is on your right hand side. Go past the house, turn right and follow the driveway around back. Guest parking is available on the left hand side of the driveway. Chambers Haven entrance is the door to the left of the garage. You made it!
