A delightful traditional croft enjoying spectacular views over open countryside in the heart of whisky country on the Glenlivet Crown Estate. Large traditional kitchen with AGA and all mod. cons. Cosy sofas, armchairs and wood burning stoves. Minimum stay of two nights. The space The croft was featured in BBC's Escape to the Country - Scottish Highlands (episode aired Jan '15). Large traditional kitchen with AGA and all mod. cons. Cosy sofas, armchairs and log burning stoves in the lounge and a large dining table to seat 8 in the dining room. Mountain biking, golf, fishing, shooting, skiing and walking nearby. Loads of whisky distilleries on your doorstep. The perfect place for a country retreat. Please note this is a rural location. 15 minutes drive from the nearest town so a car is pretty much essential. Al fresco dining in the summer on the patio or in the garden for a BBQ. In the winter, shut the doors, get the fire on and chill out with a good book or film with a glass of red wine or a wee dram of the local whisky. Local pub within walking distance (4 minute walk) open during high season (March-October approx). Guest access The whole croft including out buildings and garden are available. Garden is fully enclosed and is great for pets and kids to run around in.
