Cozy Loire Valley garden cottage and pool.

Le Petit Meigné is a charming, split level, fully renovated former 17th c village forge located on a terraced, landscaped garden. Downstairs there is a living room, kitchenette, dining nook and bathroom. The upstairs loft bedroom has a double bed. In 2021 an 8mx4m swimming pool was added to the property and the area around the pool was terraced. We are happy share the use of this pool with our guests but please note that we will also be using the pool as well during guest's stay. The space We have created a comfortable 40 m2 interior living space with all the modern amenities that you need and yet have kept the old world charm. On the 20 m2 terrace there are armchairs as well as a parasol covered dining table and chairs to serve as your al fresco living and dining space. This is the perfect place to return to and have a glass of wine after touring the many riches of the Loire Valley. If you are looking for a quiet, private, relaxing vacation get away you may have found it! Other things to note One thing to note is that the loft bedroom has a sloped ceiling measuring 100cm to 300cm. Guests measuring over 190cm have not found this to present a problem. The sofa downstairs coverts into a double bed so 2 guests traveling together who do not normally share a bed can easily be accommodated. This is a self catering cottage. We will supply you with the basics but you will need to bring food and drink to enjoy during your stay.
