The Old Wash House, Ynysmarchog, Brecon Beacons

A luxurious stone cottage that sleeps up to 6 people over 1 King-Size Room and 2 Twin bed Rooms. The Wash House is full of character with oak beams and a wood burning stove. Nestled in the Brecon Beacons National Park, our cottage stay is the perfect luxury country retreat with beautiful walks and outdoor activities aplenty as well as the wonderful historical towns of Brecon, Llandovery & Llandeilo nearby. The cottage layout includes a bedroom and bathrooms on the ground floor. The space GROUND FLOOR An immaculate kitchen with a new electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, Smeg fridge/freezer, Miele Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. An oak dining table with high back leather chairs, sofas and chairs set around a contemporary wood burning stove, TV and Freeview and DVD player. Shower Room – This houses a double size shower, hand-basin and toilet. Bathroom – This houses a bath with shower over, hand-basin and toilet. Bedroom 1 – The first of the bedrooms this is a very pretty twin room along with hanging and storage space. 1st FLOOR Bedroom 2 – The second of the twin rooms in which you will find twin beds, along with a pretty wooden wardrobe and a small dressing table and stool. Bedroom 3 – This is the master bedroom with a King-sized bed, a wooden double wardrobe, dressing table and stool. Both bedrooms have hairdryers for use. OUTDOOR SPACE Behind the cottage is a garden table with benches along with use of a BBQ and firebowl. There is a small raised lawn which houses a rotary line. The cottage is situated on our very quiet farm. We live in the main farm house next to the cottage and have 3 very friendly dogs. There are two lily ponds in the courtyard area that visitors with small children should be aware of. FRESH LINEN All new quality linen and towels are inclusive.
