Simple, Charming, Mountain Getaway

The space RCN- 024340 Spacious two-story house in Tahoe Donner, with plenty of parking, perfect for family and group getaways. Although we can host up to 10 people, only 6 can be adults per the Town of Truckee. No more than 5 vehicles are allowed at all times. Close to many Tahoe ski resorts and summer recreational activities. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 twin beds on the loft, and an additional in-law with another bedroom, bathroom, and a separate living room, and two additional twin beds. The main living room hosts a comfortable sitting area and a family style long banquet table. There is a large deck with a bbq overlooking the forest in the back. We keep it simple and comfortable, not a lot of frills. The house is a 70's style cabin, so if you're expecting a sterile luxurious property, look elsewhere. We are trying to provide a lower cost alternative for families and groups to have the Tahoe experience. This is a pet friendly house, so if you are a clean freak or have allergies, it's probably not the place for you. Guests will have access to Tahoe Donner's exclusive amenities (for an additional fee): Golf course, driving range, ski resort, equestrian center, gym with hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms, multiple parks and swimming pools, and a private beach and boat launch on Donner Lake. These amenities are shared private community amenities and are not on our personal property. Tahoe Donner is a Homeowner's Association and has recently passed new rules for short term rentals, so guests will need to sign Tahoe Donner's Covenant agreeing to follow the rules of the community and will be held liable for any fines as a result of violations. Due to recent issues with first time renters, people new to Airbnb without reviews may be asked for an additional fully refundable security deposit. Guest access Guests will have full access to the property, house, garage, and deck. Chains or 4wd is highly suggested during winter stays. Guests will also have access to Tahoe Donner's private amenities by paying a daily per person recreation fee. Due to covid, most amenities are unavailable at this time or require appointments in advance.
