The first parts of the property were built in 1824. The suite (approx. 0 square meters) with veranda (16 square meters) was added and expanded in 2007. The rooms are lovingly furnished and offer everything your heart desires: cozy hours in front of the fireplace in winter, and relaxed evenings with a glass of wine on the veranda in summer. When furnishing, we placed emphasis on a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The suite offers tranquility and the fully glazed fireplace room invites you to dream. The space In the accommodation, we have provided a tea/coffee station. Dishes and cutlery are also available. A self-catering breakfast is perfectly possible. A large table is available in the living room for this purpose. The cozy couch invites you to linger and offers views of the garden. The suite has no kitchen. A small fridge is in the living room and on the private terrace there is another fridge, toaster and microwave incl. Grill function is available. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The marble bathroom has a large hot tub that is suitable for two people together. In addition, a shower. The bathroom has skylights and underfloor heating. A wellness break is guaranteed. The bedroom has a large king-size bed with cozy bedding. Above the bed is a skylight with shutters. To wake up, you can open the skylight from the bed and start the morning with a view of the sky. In the cool season, we provide a large wood basket for the fireplace. Each additional wood basket is passed on for €7. Guest access The suite is accessible via the common courtyard, has a private, lockable entrance and is completely separated from the main house. Other things to note For business travelers Boehringer Ingelheim is about a 20-25 minute walk away. In Mainzer Straße, so in close proximity there are several wineries: Winery Mett& Weidenbach (80m); Winery Huf (50m); Winery Arndt Werner (400m); Weingut Diels (400m); Weingut Stritter (1.6km). The wineries are very happy to welcome you for a wine tasting and or wine sale. (See the map under Photos). The Ingelheimer Winzerkeller is 500m from our house, there is the Ingelheim tourist information, an excellent wine shop where you can taste and buy the wine of 24 Ingelheim winemakers, as well as a beautiful restaurant. 820 m away is the Ingelheim city center with shops, supermarkets, train station, etc. We are happy to give personal restaurant recommendations that meet your own wishes. There are several hiking routes around Ingelheim: such as: Kaiserpfalzweg, Weinmeile, Hiwweltour Bismarckturm, Rheinhessischer Jakobsweg, Ingelheimer Auslese. Corresponding maps are available at our property. Sights in Ingelheim: ex: Burgkirche, Saalkirche and the Kaiserpfalz, Bismarckturm Sights around Ingelheim: e.g.: the cathedral and the old town of Mainz (20km), the cultural bank of Bingen (15km) with several castles that follow the Rhine towards Koblenz, the Germania Niederwalddenkmal Rüdesheim (42km), boat rides on the Rhine, open-air Salinental in Bad Kreuznach (30km), Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg (32km) We would like to inform you transparently that since June 2020, Airbnb has changed the price structure and now 22% in fees is deducted from the nightly rate for us hosts.
