Wood House Cottage

Spectacularly situated in the beautiful Buttermere valley, Wood House Cottage offers sole use of the cottage for your group. The lake is a one minute walk away, where there is a delightful pebble beach and a breathtaking view. Next door to the cottage we have a guest house with three en suite bedrooms (a double and two twin rooms). Please see the three separate listings on Airbnb for these rooms. The space The cottage is set within the grounds of Wood House, a fine National Trust Lakeland home. Wood House lies between Buttermere and Crummock Water lakes and has its own private access path to Crummock Water. Buttermere village is a ten minute walk, where there are two pubs, a café and an ice cream shop. There is a range of wonderful activities on the doorstep: sensational mountain walks, canoeing on the lake, mountain biking and a via ferrata. Wood House also provides an adventure activity guiding service. We are also able to provide packed lunches.
