Live in charismatic Uzupis

Cosy and comfortable apartment in charismatic Uzupis with its constitution, traditions and festivals. It comfortably fits for two or four/six persons. Enjoy fully equipped kitchen, or just walk for 10 min and find the best places outside. You can walk to any interest place in 10 min. The space Cosy and comfortable apartment is located in the old town of Vilnius, in the charm “independent Republic of Uzupis”. The artists started to settle here and turned Uzupis into a real republic of artists with its own government, constitution, the anthem, traditions and festivals. The sculpture of the Angel of Užupis symbolizes freedom and protects the residents of this quarter. The Republic of Uzupis has its own constitution - 39 article as for example Articles 12 ("A dog has the right to be a dog."), 37 ("People have the right to have no rights."), 16 ("People have the right to be happy.") and 17 ("People have the right to be unhappy.") which declare people's right to either do or not do something, according to their desires. So from the apartment its just 10 min. walk down through the park crossing river Vilnele and castle Gediminas to the Cathedral. Town Hall is also 10 min on foot. The French bakery with wonderful croissants in the morning and nice bread, bars, restaurants, bus stop, shop for food are all within 5 min walking distance. The apartment is of two bedrooms, there is the possibility to sleep for 6 persons, as two sofa-beds in the living room are. So just let know if there is a need for more quests. The apartment has all the comforts, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & board, internet (wireless access) and etc. The kitchen is fully equipped – toaster, cooker/oven with hood, fridge/freezer, stainless steel pots, and all kitchen utensils. You don’t need to take care of bedding and towels, they will be provided. Tea and coffee is also for your welcome. Check in/check out time is flexible based on your arrival or even more, I could help to organize you the transport from / to the airport (as it is 20-30 min away). As this apartment is my living place, I would be very appreciative if the coming quests would feel as coming to the friend and at the same time giving the respect. Sorry, but my apartment is not suitable place for hen-parties or similar ones. If you want, I will always help in assisting you to make you stay and visit in Vilnius and other wonderful places in country comfortable and you could see the best places of it.
