You are renting a quaint, rustic, 400-year-old and renovated house. From all rooms you have a fantastic panoramic view over the lake from northeast to southwest, the right thing to unwind. The space Access to the place is via a serpentine access road (1.2 km, about steep). Our house can be reached via the main road of the village. There are about 200 meters of level footpath. The approximately 300-year-old, rustic house has just been restored. The floors, the old wooden beam ceilings, the stoves convey an impressive charm, which is complemented by the views of the lago. The house: First floor: kitchen-living room with dishwasher and washing machine 2nd floor: living room with leather sofa set, fireplace, satellite TV and lake view 2nd floor: two bedrooms facing the lake. From both rooms access to the approx. 8 m wide balcony with sensational lake views. Next to it is a toilet and separate bathroom with shower tub. Behind it is a studio with a fireplace and a gallery with two more sleeping places, which we are currently not renting out. The approximately 30 m² garden (with barbecue and parasol (with a dream view of the lake) can be reached via the 1.5 m wide footpath, which is hardly frequented. Donego is like a terrace above the lake. A place with a breathtaking lake view (far northeast to south). If you are looking for peace, this is the place to be. Because there are no cars in Donego. It is a medieval village, listed as a historic monument. You park right in front of the place, in a large, safe and free parking lot. Also hiking trails, down to the lake or up into the mountains, from which the lake can always be seen, cross the Donego, connecting the place with Cannero Riviera, a seaside resort with an inviting beach, good restaurants and a shopping infrastructure. All in all, an ideal place for those who are stressed and looking for relaxation, something special for hikers, mountain bikers and whatever else you can think of. From Cannero Riviera (a 30-minute walk away), buses run to the nearby district town of Verbania or in a northerly direction via Cannobio to Brissago and Locarno in Switzerland.
