The cottage is a full self catering cottage: 1 double and 1 room with double/single bunks The space Set in the hills overlooking a beautiful Umbrian Valley, with uninterrupted views as far as Assisi, Casa San Gabriel is a collection of 4 farmhouses dating back to the 16th Century. Lovingly restored by the present owners, the houses feature original beams, terracotta tiles and the latest technology giving ultimate comfort. It's position set among 3 acres of its own land and surrounded by olive groves and wooded hillsides, gives guests the utmost peace and tranquillity to relax and unwind and the opportunity to walk in the beautiful Umbrian countryside. There is accommodation for 10 in 3 totally independent cottages (2,4,4), all with private terraces, fully equipped kitchen, sitting / dinning room, central heating, bathroom with shower and wifi access. The main house offers a communal room with a well stocked library including books, guidebooks and dvds. Guests can enjoy the 14.5m * 4.5m in-ground pool, a wood-burning pizza oven and herb garden. Swimming Pool: The 14.5m x 4.5m swimming pool is situated on a terrace, with sun beds and umbrellas, at the top of the property with magnificent views across the valley. The south facing aspect ensures the area takes advantage of the sun throughout the day and its elevated position often brings a cooling breeze for a welcome relief to the heat of the summer. It is the perfect place to enjoy a cool glass of 'Vino Bianco' and watch the evening sun set across the mountains. The whole area has been fenced to provide security for children but in such a way that this does not affect the stunning views from the swimming pool. Playground: A playground is available for use by guests which includes a swing, slide, sand pit and play house and many toys Animals: Casa San Gabriel has 1 pet Alpaca and 2 goats and our guests are welcome to visit them and help feed them.They are wonderful animals and incredibly friendly. Guest access A large swimming pool, extensive gardens, vegetable and herb gardens. Free access to walk around the estate of vineyards and olive groves. There is a shared laundry and office with books and games etc to loan. There is free wifi throughout the property. There is a tennis court in the valley that the guests can pay €25 to use which is only 15 mins walk or less than 5 mins drive from Casa San Gabriel and this includes use of all racquets and balls.
