We have installed a modern kitchen, to create a homogeneous, integrated ground floor and renovated the bathroom on the main house. A modern separate studio complements the style and offers chic accommodation for an extra family. The kitchen and entertaining area flow onto a wooden deck at the back, for leafy outdoor dining on balmy summer evenings. The stone courtyard at the front is enclosed, and gets good sun, creating a gentle warmth that makes for a comfortable lunch in the cooler months.
