Historical House B&B Aquarelle Como Lake

The BeB Aquarelle is located in the hamlet of Palanzo, in the municipality of Faggeto Lario, halfway between Como and Bellagio. The village is located at an altitude of 600 metres in a sunny and panoramic position, making it an ideal starting point for mountain excursions and pleasant trips on the lake. A short walk from the B&B, you can visit the "big press" dating back to 1572. The B&B offers a Home Restaurant service and the organisation of e-bike tours. In the village there is a bar with a restaurant-pizzeria and a small market. The space Shared bathroom Guest access Access to the house is only allowed to guests who have made a reservation. Smoking is prohibited inside the house and, although we are animal lovers, pets are not allowed in the house. During your stay Our Italian manor house is an example of historic architecture, where we have maintained the original aspects of the building through careful and respectful renovation. The furnishings have been carefully chosen, recovering furniture and furnishings of the time from antique markets, to recreate the atmosphere of the early 1900s and offer a historical testimony of the styles of that period. We have been personally involved in this project for about ten years, culminating in a structure that offers all modern comforts. The upper part of the house, where we live, has a large terrace with a panoramic view of the lake, ideal for serving rich breakfasts to our guests. Located 600 metres above sea level and about 10 minutes' drive from the lake shore, the house is in the heart of a small medieval town, characterised by the presence of a castle and picturesque alleyways. A distinctive element of the place is a wooden press from 1520, historically used for pressing grapes in wine production. The surroundings of the village offer several paths for pleasant walks, allowing guests to explore the natural beauty and history of the place.
