'The Cabin' is a romantic couple's retreat, but conversely, a family's nostalgic getaway to a simpler life. Overlooking a field of friendly sheep who wander right up to the living room windows, and bird feeders which welcome a wealth of birds at every elevation, you will feel immersed in nature and wildlife. Go outside and toast marshmallows on the fire pit, or sizzle sausages on the brick charcoal barbecue. Then sink into the electric hot tub, turn up the jets and gaze at the stars. The space Sleeps: 4 - Wooden king-sized bed, with premium quality mattress, bedding and linen to ensure a good nights sleep. - Smart TV in bedroom. - Chest of drawers in bedroom. - Sofa bed, which will accommodate one adult, or two children. Interior: Kitchen/Dining: - Gas, four ring hob. - Gas oven/grill - Large upright fridge/freezer - Microwave - Toaster - Tassimo coffee machine - Kettle - Stainless steel sink and drainer - Kitchen bin - Cooking utensils - Crockery and glasses - Cutlery - Saucepans, frying pans, wok, baking trays, roasting tray, pyrex dishes - Electric heater in bedroom - Woodburner in living room Ensuite Bathroom: - Light-up mirror - Large shower - Toilet - Sink - Large towel rail - Hairdryer - Chest of drawers Living Room: - Sofa bed - Smart TV - Wifi - Woodburner Exterior: - Private garden, comprising lawn and chippings with stepping stone slabs and framed with thoughtfully-planted railway sleeper flower beds. - Dog-friendly garden (garden is fully-fenced on all sides). Charcoal barbecue (charcoal not provided, but can be purchased on site). - Fire pit - Electric, 3-person hot tub. Parking: - Parking for one vehicle adjacent to your lodge. If you wish to bring more than one vehicle, the second can be parked in the lay-by just outside the entrance gate. Dogs: - We accept a maximum of two well-behaved dogs, for which there is a pet fee of £20 in total. - We kindly ask that dogs are not allowed on the furniture. We will make an exception with the sofa if guests are courteous and bring with them a clean dog blanket, which generously covers all seating/cushions. The Cabin has its own designated and conveniently-located parking space; it also has electric hook-up adjacent (this is not an EV charging point) in case you should wish to bring a mobile home or tent with you for extra guests (subject to additional fee and negotiation). Guests are free to walk around the lower half of the field which houses our small flock of friendly sheep (being mindful to keep dogs on leads) and are also free to enjoy the pond area just below The Cabin. Other things to note For stays of 3 nights or greater, we include the following: - A complimentary bottle of Prosecco - Lindt truffles (one per guest) - Coffee pods for the Nespresso Vertuo machine - Robes - Face masks - Balloons and/or rose petals on the bed for special occasions (please advise if required) Regrettably, it is not financially feasible for us to include these items for a 2-night stay.
