Countryside Retreat Loft

Our beautiful and secluded countryside retreat at the start of the Brecon Beacons is perfect for those looking to escape from the city for few days, or use as a base to hike the Brecon Beacons. The loft apartment has fantastic views of Skirrid and the Black Mountains, alongside it's modern and comfortable interior, with plentiful hiking and countryside exploration on your doorstep. Feel at peace hearing just the birds and farm animals as you sip your morning coffee, then head out and explore! The space The loft is situated on our property above the garage, as per the pictures, and is in the middle of our small holding where we also live. Having been newly refurbished and re-furnished, it's modern countryside aesthetic is the perfect contrast to the most incredible views from your lounge. At the top of the stairs, it opens out into a large open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge. The bedroom and bathroom adjoin accordingly. The loft is completely kitted out to allow you sit back and relax in comfort. The kitchenette is fully functional with fridge, coffee machine, microwave oven, gas hob, and the standard facilities. All kitchen basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, etc are provided. We also have recently added a desk with monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, laptop stand, and a USBc compatible docking station for home working, if needed. Your accommodation is fully central heated for the cold winter months. Guest access Plentiful parking outside your door Other things to note - 1.5 hour walk from your doorstep to the top of Offa's Dyke, the start of the Black Mountains - Pub with excellent food and drink just a 10 minute walk away - Farm shop within 5 minute drive - Local dairy farm and ice cream factory just a 5 minute drive away. 30 flavours, a cafe, and woodland walking - 15 mins to Abergavenny - 25 mins to Hereford - We have a dog.
