La Perdrix gite near Charroux, Civray & Ruffec

La Perdrix gite is deceptively spacious (60 sqm) blending charm and character with original beams and exposed stone walls. Ideal for 2 but can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Ground floor: main bedroom with king size bed, bathroom, kitchen, living/dining room. Upstairs: 1 double bed on the mezzanine. All linen and bathroom towels provided. The private terrace is equipped with table, chairs & parasol overlooking the amazing heated pool and countryside beyond. Sorry no pets. The space Kitchen and dining There is a well-equipped open plan kitchen dining area which opens out directly onto the private terrace overlooking the pool and countryside beyond. Good quality fixtures and fittings, an electric fan oven, electric hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for your stay. Living room The spacious open plan, double height living room has original oak beams and exposed stone walls. It has been tastefully decorated throughout with tiled floors for coolness in the summer and ease of cleaning. The living room opens out onto the private terrace overlooking the amazing pool. Bedrooms The charming downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, wardrobe and a chest of drawers. It has it's own separate doorway opening onto the private terrace overlooking the amazing pool and countryside beyond. Bedroom 2 upstairs on the mezzanine has 2 single beds. Bathroom The modern bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a full size bath with shower over the bath. Heating The gite is double glazed throughout and there is a wood burner in the open plan living kitchen area which heats the whole gite. There are also electric wall heaters in every room if needed. Other things to note The property is not suitable for infants or children under 12 years. Sorry we do not accept pets as we have 2 cats. The pool is shared with guests from the neighbouring gite and occasional guests in the B&B.
