Brail Barn, Great Bedwyn

Our cosy Barn is furnished to a high standard and is situated close to the main house in nine acres of grounds and within walking distance to two idyllic villages which have excellent dog friendly pubs. It is ideally positioned if you are seeking a relaxing break with many stunning walks and bike rides. (Bikes not included!). There is an EV charger located at the Barn. Please note there will be a additional charge if used. The space The ground floor of the Barn has a large open plan living area which includes a very well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting area with Sky TV and an LPG stove. There is a separate eight seater dining table. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with a King sized bed and an adjoining twin bedded room and shower room and WC. The large bedroom also has a comfortable seating area with a lovely view of the fields through the French windows as well as a good working desk. Access to the shower room and WC is via the twin bedded room. Both bedrooms have chests of drawers and hanging space. Additionally there is an outside loo attached to the barn. We have provided a large dog cage and dog bed. Please ensure dogs do not go upstairs by using the gate at the bottom of the stairs. There is an outside tap for washing them down if needed. The porch has a useful area for hanging wet weather clothes and boots. The Barn is an excellent base for exploring the area and a comfortable location for business visitors to the Marlborough, Hungerford, Newbury, Andover and Swindon area. Guest access You will have access to part of the garden with a table and 4 chairs and are welcome to walk through the nine acres up to the woods adjoining our pony and sheep paddocks. The views from the top of the field are stunning and a lovely place to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine on a summer’s evening seated on a covered bench. We also have a children’s play area which may be used as long as children are supervised at all times and we accept no responsibility for any accidents. Other things to note There is off road parking to the right of the Barn. Well behaved dogs (and children!) welcome. We play area which you are welcome to use but please be aware that if wet it may be slippery. There is an additional one off charge of £15 per pet. Please pay us directly as it is not possible to pay via Airbnb. We have provided a large dog cage and a dog bed. There is a stair gate to ensure pets don’t go upstairs and a tap outside behind the barn for washing dogs. We ask guests not to wash their dogs inside the barn and you will need to bring your own towels for drying them.
