Historic, charming house 1/2 block from one of the largest & most stunning deep gorge parks in Duluth. Easy access to hiking & biking trails, the newest local craft district, restaurants, pubs, venues & shops. This listing is also on a major bus route, has a fenced in double-lot yard 3 private parking spaces. Accommodating Host has 24 years of professional knowledge of the major(& hidden) jewels that make Duluth the place to be. Kids & pets are welcomed on a case by case basis. Let's talk 🥰 The space Built around 1890, this home is a historic gem. Lightly refurbished & decorated w/ eclectic treasures, it retains an aura of yesterday's charms while keeping up with today's necessities. It creaks and groans yet solidly insulates all inside from weather, commotion, stress and uncertainty. Available rooms are clean, comfortably furnished and have all basic necessities provided. Hosts seek to accommodate special requests whenever possible. Guest access Guests have casual access to all areas of the house except the attic, which is where the ghosts live! There is a second, unfinished bathroom, with shower, in the basement along side but separate from a complete laundry room. Back and side yard is fenced and can be locked at night. Small firepit exists with firewood available. Smoking is permitted outside on a limited basis, if other guests don't oppose. Prior approval is required for anyone but registered guests to visit the property. During your stay Communication and contact can be tailored to your preferences. I love to socialize but am also a fairly private person, so can disappear quickly for extended periods of time. I do, however, offer any level of assistance that I possibly can and ENJOY doing so. Answering questions, giving advice and solving problems are things I excel at & are big reasons I decided to be a host. Not only do I have a wealth of experience & information from 24 years as a local recreation professional, I also can offer services that go above and beyond a typical b&b experience. I expect that those who are sharing my home will communicate clearly and respectfully with each other, but especially with me.
