From the moment that you arrive at The Blue Heron, to when you tour each room and experience the decorating details, you will know that you are in a special place. We hope that the experience of staying in our vacation rental will mirror the natural and tropical experience of our beautiful beach. The Blue Heron is a wonderful place to escape life for a while, both inside and regionally. Our favorite touch is all the local artwork. The Blue Heron is a magical place, along the emerald waters. The Blue Heron is unlike most rental properties on Panama City Beach. It is very uniquely decorated, has a Gulf view, is VERY clean and, is fairly priced. The atmosphere on the west-end of Panama City Beach is peaceful and serene. The Blue Heron is located, away from all the noise, congestion and tourist traps of the east-end of the beach. It is close to many restaurants and great seafood dining areas. And most uniquely, it is located one mile from the beginning of scenic 30-A, in South Walton County. This resort area includes Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Alys Beach, Seacrest, and more. All these townships are connected by 30-A and a 22 mile bike path, so you can tour each town for lunch, it's beaches and adventure. We purchased The Blue Heron for it's view and proximity to the beach. You can watch beautiful sunsets from the balcony, as well as, see large flocks of pelicans, flying east for the night. You can fall asleep to the sounds of waves lapping the beach. When we are at The Blue Heron, we are captivated by it's tranquil feel and often, don't want to leave.. We know that you will feel the same way. The Blue Heron is like your own home by the beach. We supply everything inside that you could possibly need, from a hair dryer to a pizza pan. We also supply everything for the beach, such as beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cart. Upon your return from a wonderful day in the sun, you can grill out on a gas grill in your own, private yard. We live in the same neighborhood as The Blue Heron and are just a phone call away... We will meet you in person at check in and are available for any help that you might need, while you are on vacation. The Blue Heron is located in a beautiful part of Florida and we have some of the prettiest beaches on the Emerald Coast...We boast sugar-white sands and crystal-clear waters. We are located in a "locals" community. There are no high rise condos in the area and the beaches are quiet and pristine. The community is safe for your family and children. There are several restaurants in the area, serving locally caught, fresh seafood. There are also several grocery stores, less than a mile away. Most of your time will be spent on the beautiful beach. The Blue Heron is directly across the street from the beach, with public beach accesses 94 & 95 within a 50 yard walk. Panama City Beach has a beach trolley with pickup locations, just a block away. Also, there are numerous taxi companies and Uber drivers servicing the area.
