Beul na Mara | Unique Luxury Suite on the Loch

The apartment has its own access, an ensuite bedroom, sitting room & dining area. A fridge and service trolley are stocked daily with a luxurious continental breakfast & other goodies for picnics or snacks. This is an idyllic retreat & stylish yet cosy base from which to explore in all directions. Centrally located six miles from the capital, Portree. There is a deck with seats from which you can enjoy the views and the sea shore: some times visited by a variety of seabirds, otters & eagles. The space The suite on two levels is open plan and spacious, with a large picture windows and a glass door framing the views from the ground floor sitting room. This is decorated with interesting fabrics and art and floored with heated porcelain tiles. There is a dining table, buffet trolley and fridge to one side. The upstairs sleeping area is airy and light with stunning views down the loch. The room has woollen carpeting throughout: scattered with luxurious sheepskin rugs from the local traditional tannery SkyeSkyns. The king-size bed is complimented with a dreamy Hypnos mattress and fine bedding. In addition one of the windows has an insect proof screen allowing those who like to have windows open to do so without fear of the infamous highland midge. There is a Freesat TV in the room from which guests can access their own Netflix account, You Tube and many channels. Beul Na Mara offers a varied continental breakfast. A Lavaza coffee pod machine, a variety of teas, a fridge, toaster and kettle are provided. Your continental breakfast can be enjoyed at a time of your own convenience. The suite is serviced daily between 11:00 and 13:00 and guests are asked to allow for this or discuss their plans should they intend to be in during this time. Guest access This unique and beautifully designed contemporary wooden home offers a private suite for one or two people; sitting room, en suite bedroom with bath and shower, deck and private entrance. Guests have immediate access to the sea shore and garden. There are no other guests on the property. During your stay We look forward to welcoming you on arrival and introducing you to this very special place: where the land meets the sea. We live at the other end of the house and are on hand if you need anything. We prefer to give you as much privacy as possible but are available to share local knowledge and help you plan activities.
