The room is in a beautiful house on Langholtsvegur 92, belonging to the same family since it was built in 1950. The location is perfect there is a little shopping center just around the corner, with f.x. a grocery store, a lovely bakery, baking on location a popular icecream store and a noodle restaurant. The house stands on the edge of Laugardalur valley (hot spring valley) that offers a botanical garden, family park, swimming pool, cafes, art, gym clubs and Glæsibæ mall, among other things. The space The house has been completely renovated with tasteful loyalty to its original design and influence from the era its built in and the heritage of the people that built it. All spaces have different colours that are neatly toned in harmony but create a playful touch of the fifties. The floor is set with light oak and marble tiles. The decor is a mix of paintings from some of the old Icelandic artists, mandalas from Nepal, antiques from China and other more modern artists and stuff that pleases the eye.
