In the heart of Pratola’s old quarter nestles Casa Rosa, a newly-renovated 4-floor townhouse with stunning mountain views from a sizeable roof terrace. A large kitchen-diner and two double beds make it perfect for couples, friends and small families. Pratola itself is a charming and peaceful town with its main piazza, large cathedral and great cafes just a 5 minute stroll away. It is also the perfect base for exploring Abruzzo: beaches and ski resorts can both be reached in 40 minutes! The space A versatile top floor sun-room opens onto the terrace, perfect for al-fresco dining, with a light and spacious kitchen-diner on the floor below. The main bedroom and bathroom are both on the ground floor with a cosy walk-through lounge doubling as a second bedroom above. Wake up, stretch your arms on the terrace, then wander up to the Piazza Madonna della Libera for a coffee beneath the cathedral! Guest access Guests have exclusive access to all 4 floors of the entire house. The kitchen includes an integrated washing machine and a clothes drying rack is provided for use on the terrace. Other things to note Casa Rosa has a north-facing aspect into a narrow stone street, with thick stone walls and a mixture of sun and shade on the roof terrace, all of which can make for a beautifully cooling refuge from the heat of an Abruzzo summer. In winter, even with centrally-controlled electric radiators Casa Rosa can sometimes be difficult to keep well heated unless the wood-burning stove is going, and especially on the ground floor. To avoid the possibility of disappointing new AirBnb customers we have therefore decided to stop advertising available dates between November and March. If you are interested in staying during the winter please make an enquiry first so we can understand your needs and discuss heating arrangements before you book.
