Casita de la Vaca - Cave Room

Welcome to Casita de la Vaca, a casa rural situated in the Lecrin Valley with three very different rooms available. The Cave Room is our most unique accommodation and can be presented as either two singles or a super king size bed. The space This a traditional village house that has been recently updated and is situated in a small and welcoming barrio within walking distance of Mondujar and Talara and with excellent transport links, being within a km of the main Granada - Motril (coast) A44 main road. Lovingly restored and set around a secluded inner courtyard, we have two rooms on the ground floor, one with a private entrance through the courtyard and a completely independent, large studio apartment. We also offer free Wifi throughout the house. Guest access This is a large room that has an interesting feature wall of exposed rock reminiscent of the Cave Houses that feature prominently north-east of Granada in the Guadix and Baza regions. This room is cool in the height of the Andalusian summer and features traditional tiling and beams to give it a particularly rustic charm. There is a shower room next door (which is for the sole use of this room), TV, Wifi, fan, electric heater and tea/coffee making facilities. A fridge freezer and area for the preparation of cold food is provided. For those balmy summer evenings you can relax around the table and chairs in the courtyard or in the chillier winter months enjoy the comfort of the guest lounge with wood burning stove, games and reading library.
