Rural & coastal relaxation - 10 beaches in 6 miles

The Dairy is our "home from home" single level barn conversion. You will be blown away by the miles of views over fields and the incredible sunrises and sunsets. But with the massive benefit of being within 5 miles of the fabulous Newquay beaches (including Fistral, Crantock and Holywell), and the hustle and bustle of town with its shops, cafes and pubs. After a day out exploring, you can enjoy the outdoor space in peace and quiet or the cosy and warm indoors with squishy sofas and comfy beds. The space The Dairy is a single storey, semi-detached barn conversion. The property next door is another of our 3 barns, The Byre. The Dairy has an enclosed, private patio area at the front of the property, which is great for dogs or young children and has a table and chairs and a rotary washing airer. The patio looks over the shared garden (only shared with other guests) that is about 1/4 acre and has swings and picnic benches. Dogs and kids alike love running around here while others just like to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the view! Up to 2 dogs are welcome in The Dairy at no extra cost. There is also parking on site for ONE car per barn. If you wish to bring more than one car please contact me and we will try to accommodate it. There is no street parking in the area. Beyond the garden are the most amazing views of open countryside for miles and the most incredible sunrises. This is also the view from both bedrooms in The Dairy. Inside, there is a living room with a large leather corner sofa and another leather sofa, a 50" smart digital TV, a docking station with DAB radio and CD player as well as board games and playing cards. There is also a dedicated workstation with desk, comfortable swivel chair and numerous plug sockets. This leads into a fully equipped kitchen/dining room. There is a 6 seater table, dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and an electric induction hob. There is fast WIFI in the property. There is one king size bed in the main bedroom and either two single beds or a superking in the second bedroom (please advise on booking which set up you would like). We can also provide a sturdy, folding bed that can be used in the living room for a child up to the age of 16 years. It is not for use by an adult. The living room is big enough to accommodate this quite easily. We can also provide a travel cot (you will need to bring your own cot bedding) and this fits nicely in the main bedroom or second bedroom. 100% cotton bedding on all the beds and big, fluffy bath and hand towels are provided but please bring beach towels. Both of the single beds have double duvets on so that kids or adults alike don't get cold in the night. Winter and summer duvets are available all year round to suit each guest. Brand new (end of 2024) Bathroom - walk in shower with rainfall shower as well as a full size bath. There is central heating throughout the property, that is always available and it heats up really quickly so is perfect for winter breaks too. There is always plenty of hot water for showers/baths after a day on the beach! And a hairdryer for afterwards! All of the wooden floors are stripped and oiled and practical with dogs, kids or sandy/muddy shoes. There are no thresholds in the property except for the front door so there is easy access once inside but there is a step up onto the decking from the gravel drive to access the front door. All 3 barns here at Trerice Holiday Barns can be booked together for larger groups/family get togethers. We can accommodate 14 in total including 2 folding beds. Guest access The 3 barns here share a communal garden (as well as their own private, enclosed patio area) and a large secure storage shed that contains bodyboards, a BBQ for each cottage, buckets and spades, outdoor games including Giant Jenga, badminton and swingball. This shed is also perfect for guests to store bikes/surfboards/canoes etc. There is one parking space per barn. Please get in touch if you wish to bring more than one car as we can probably accommodate this. Guests have their own driveway that is separate from ours. Other things to note We can provide a cot with mattress and a high chair if required at no extra cost - please let me know when you book. Please bring your own cot bedding. The folding bed is intended for use by a child and for families with 3 children. Please let me know on booking whether you would like the beds in the 2nd bedroom set up as 2 x single beds or 1 x superking bed. The hob in the kitchen is an electric induction hob, which can interfere with pacemakers so advice is to remain 2ft away from the hob if you are fitted with a pacemaker.
