Room 2 on the cheesefarm

The space In unique natural surroundings , right at the rustic river the Utrechtse Vecht, viewing over the meadows, between the villages Vreeland and Nigtevecht you find, partly self catering, Bed and Breakfast ‘De Willigen ‘(Willows). It counts seven stylish en luxuriously furnished rooms, together with a joint kitchen, a sunny terrace and a garden at the Vecht, where you an relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In the morning a wonderful fresh baked breakfast is served. ‘De Willigen ’is run by the Willig family, an old farmers family, that still has milk cows an makes cheese and ice in the way of the artisan. Of course you can take a look and try ! Four of the seven rooms are large and have their own toilet, (bubble)bath and/or shower, a bed-settee, a cosy nook and a small refrigerator. On of them can very well do as a bride suite . Then there still is the smaller room with its own toilet and shower. In the hey stack there are two rooms which share toilet and shower. All rooms have a LED flatscreen-TV with satellite receiving set. The very good box spring beds of 2.10 meters long guarantee an excellent night rest. All rooms overlook the Vecht and the meadowlands. The favourable lie of De Willigen offers you rest and nature but also hosts you a half an hour drive form Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum. There are more than one cycle- and hiking routes along the farm, you can fish, canoe and in summer even swim in the Vecht. Within a small distance you also find the Loosdrecht lakes where you can hire a sailboat. In a word: choice enough! Do also ask for our possibilities and the special prices for accommodating and entertaining groups. We can receive groups until 23 persons. There is ample place to park, a landing stage of 60 meters long and one specially for canoes. The Willigen is smoke free, and sorry - no pets allowed.
