Vermont Modern with Adirondack Views
Vermont Modern with Adirondack Views
Description
This is a sunny, spacious home with fantastic views of the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain from one of its many windows. It's tucked back into 24 acres of hillside off of a steep dirt road, so it's private, quiet, and features amazing summer sunsets. The house is 30 minutes from Burlington and 30-45 minutes from Stowe, Mad River Glen, Sugarbush and Bolton Valley for skiing. Hinesburg is 7 minutes away for groceries, a craft brewery (Frost Brewery), restaurants, and other amenities. The space Our house is perfect for reading/writing on one of the decks, wandering the logging trails through the woods, or just enjoying a little peace and quiet. The house is designed to take advantage of cool breezes coming down off the ridge behind the house, while the front deck is an awesome spot to catch the lingering sunsets. The house was built in 2015 (although its foundations are older than that!), so everything feels pretty new. A security system, good lighting and exterior cameras help keep things safe and secure, but Hinesburg is also just a few minutes away for food, craft beer, and restaurants. Burlington is 30 minutes north, but an easy trip. Please note that we do have one outdoor cat (Frida), but she won't need anything from you during your stay. Please note: Four-wheel-drive is REQUIRED in wintertime; ou road is a very steep dirt road, and our driveway is uphill. Both are kept plowed, but you'll need 4WD in case of inclement weather. Guest access Whole house is open to guests, except the garages and the basement. Please enjoy!
