Situated in the peaceful rural village with a 20min walk from a small shingle beach at Gilfach-yr-Halen, which leads onto the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path walk. The Moody Cow restaurant, pub, farm shop and soft play is situated within walking distance across the peaceful countryside. A perfect visit for those cold cosy nights by the fire or for a Summers evening sat out looking over the lake. There is a village store and petrol station within walking distance for groceries/newspapers/post office. The space Pant-y-Celyn is a cosy ground floor studio apartment, semi-detached from the owner’s bungalow. An open plan living space with a double size bed tucked away in a snug area at one end, a small double sofa bed, also used as seating to relax and unwind. At the other end, a fully equipped kitchen/diner area. The bathroom has a large shower area with a power shower, bath, sink and toilet. Entrance to the property consists of 2 steps up into a small entrance porch for storage of shoes, coats and bags etc which leads into the kitchen. There are patio doors that open out onto a small secure decked area with seating to enjoy the peaceful evenings. Guest access Parking area directly in front of the property and access to local villages, beaches and towns can be via bus, car, bike or on foot. Other things to note 1 small well behaved dog allowed , £20.00 fee to be paid on arrival. Just 2 miles away is the picturesque Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with unique shops and many good restaurants providing the finest foods from locally sourced ingredients. Throughout the Summer you will find plenty of entertainment such as a seafood festival, a cider and beer festival, a festival celebrating Welsh ponies and cobs, a mackerel festival, a carnival and more. In the winter it is much more peaceful but all businesses are open. Inland, you can explore the lush Aeron valley and visit the National Trust mansion at Llanerchaeron, an elegant Georgian villa set in the wooded Aeron Valley. Remarkably, unchanged for over 200 years, this self-sufficient estate includes a farm, walled gardens and a beautiful lake full of wildlife. Enjoy a coffee and a cake here before taking a leisurely stroll back alongside the old railway path through the beautiful woodland to the Gerogian town of Aberaeron. There are 60 miles of glorious coastal path if you enjoy walking, and lots of towns and villages to explore. The beaches and coves at Cwm Tydu, Llangrannog, Tresaith and Aberporth are just a short distance away along this beautiful stretch of coastline. Nearby places of interest include the quaint seaside fishing village of New Quay with its sandy beaches, boat trips to see the dolphins, surfing and kayaking. A little further away is the Victorian town of Aberystwyth, with its pier and promenade, shops and restaurants. Perhaps youd like to take a steam railway to Devils Bridge to explore the wonderful waterfalls and hills. To the south is the Teifi Valley, offering walking, kayaking and fishing in the river renowned for its sewin and salmon.
