Shepherd's Snug

The Shepherd's Snug is a peaceful glamping pod with amazing views. It’s the perfect central location to explore Edinburgh or Glasgow with excellent transport links to M8, M9 & M90 motorways & train links from Linlithgow & Uphall stations. The Shepherd's Snug can be made up as a twin or super kingsize bed and sleeps 2 people comfortably. Due to its countryside location, guests must have access to a car or book taxis from Uphall or Linlithgow train stations. The space The Shepherd’s Snug includes an open plan bedroom/ kitchen area with table and 2x chairs and separate bathroom with large shower. There is a small TV on the wall and the large windows and split ‘farmhouse style’ door provide lots of light and plenty to see. The kitchen facilities include sink, fridge, microwave, toaster & kettle but no oven. Occupying an elevated position, the Shepherd's Snug has far reaching panoramic views taking in Berwick Law, Edinburgh, Arthur's Seat, the Pentlands and Tinto Hill by Lanark. Situated on its own, adjacent to farm land it is a fantastic place to enjoy your own space and relax on holiday or after a hard day at work. Guest access The Shepherd’s Snug and small area outside, including outdoor furniture and fire pit, is exclusively for the guests. There is room to park a car adjacent to the pod. Other things to note The farm on which the Shepherd's Snug is located includes extensive farm walks and allows guests to explore their environment. Beecraigs country park is 5 minutes away by car, with the town of Linlithgow less than 10 minutes away with cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions.
