Description

Closer to the sea? Impossible! In good weather or during a storm, few lodgings in Brittany offer such proximity to the sea and the open sea. The Department of Finistère was not mistaken: it classified this place as a Protected Natural Area. This house, divided into two cottages, belonged to my great-grandparents: my great-grandfather, Le Youtar by his nickname, had started fishing at a time when you could only sail... The space This small fisherman's house, on the dune of Lesconil, is located in the exceptional setting of a natural area protected by the Department of Finistère, near the coastal path (GR34). It offers a 180° sea view at the tip of Goudoul. This breathtaking view of the sea promises beautiful sights in good weather as well as in storms. On each side of the house, access to the two beaches (small and large beach) is 50 m away. A terrace to the south of the house, surrounded by a low wall, allows you all the comfort facing the sea and sunsets. The port is within walking distance via the coastal path: its summer attractions, its nautical center, its coastal fishermen who sell their catch of the day on the quay, its restaurants and shops, are all opportunities to take beautiful walks. The Pointe de la Torche, a remarkable site for surfing, the port of Guilvinec where you can watch the arrival of fishing boats and the sale by auction are about ten km away. I relied on the advice and some achievements of the Lesconiloise decorator Sandrine Bodennec (Atelier Atori showroom) for the renovation entirely in 2019 using noble, local and eco-responsible materials (granite, hemp, wood). The decoration, long thought out, tends towards a cozy atmosphere, reinforced by the possibility of making a fire in the wood stove. Some decorative touches are linked to the location's uniqueness and history. The mezzanine bedroom is equipped with 2 beds of 90 cm, the electric bed base of one of them allows you to see the sea and the rocks through the roof window when you straighten it up. These beds can be converted into a king-size bed. On the ground floor, bathroom with spacious shower. Living room and garden sofa, barbecue, deckchairs and parasol. Guest access The house is located on departmental council land, classified as a protected area. You access it via a cul-de-sac (rue Pierre Loti) and a path blocked by a barrier. We give you access to unload your luggage upon arrival and load it upon departure, but parking for your vehicle must be done at the parking lot 50 m away. The house is divided into 2 separate cottages, separated by a removable fence. You will occupy number 13.
