Family organic farm Karhulka - guesthouse

The cozy guesthouse is part of our organic farm Karhulka situated in a beautiful countryside at the foot of a czech mystical mountain Blaník. Karhule is tiny village "at the end of the world" where you can easily find a rest for your body and peace of mind, far away from the chaotic city pace of life. Unspoilt nature, forests loaded with porcini mushrooms, organic veggies from our farm, hiking and biking routes etc. Our place works great for singles, couples, families or smaller groups. The space English translation update coming soon Recently newly furnished spacious apartment (80 sq.m./860 sq.f.) in a tastefully remodeled, several hundred yrs old farm house at the charming czech countryside. In the attic bedroom (40 sq.m./430sq.f.), there are 2 beds (they can work either as 2 single beds or 1 double bed). All the bedroom furniture (2 beds, 2 nightstands, 2 big wardrobes and 1 dressing table with a mirror) was carefully hand-restored and painted with crackle technique. There are also 2 beds for the little guests + option to add 2 more extra beds (double air mattress). The blackout roller blinds on the roof windows provide absolute darkness = great sleep therapy! :-) Downstairs in the living area, there is a comfy 3 seat sofa and nice firm sofa bed for 2 people. The kitchen with a dining table is fully equipped - there is everything you might need (electric oven, gas stove top, microwave oven, fridge, electric kettle, french press, toaster, all the basic dishes, cookware and silverware, composting and recycling facilities, retro radio with bluetooth etc. ) with the only exception of a dish washer. Downstairs, there is also a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower corner, as well as a separate toilet with a sink. Fresh bath towels, towels, shampoo, bath salt/bubbles, soap, toilet paper etc. are part of the service. Wifi internet access goes without saying. In the living room area, there is newly installed Epson projector with a screen and a stereo surround speakers for your nice evening movie experience or bed time story for the kids. For the little ones there is also a small patine table with 2 chairs, stool in the bathroom and at the toilet, we are also able to provide a high chair and a portable bathtub for small babies etc. In the apartment, there are board games, books, dvds, wicker basket full of tips for trips in the neighbourhood at your disposal. Guest access English translation update coming soon Its possible to enjoy the outdoors barbecue area + Mr. Weber ;-) grill. For longer stays the guests can take advantage of our washer & dryer. Parking at the farm premises, bikes etc. storage in our garage. Fresh coffee served to your liking (espresso, cappucino, latté) made from freshly roasted & ground beans or tea from fresh garden herbs (mint, lemon balm etc.) or hot chocolate/cocoa for your kids are part fo the breakfast. We are dutifully recycling all of our waste, incl. biowaste. For longer stays (2 weeks & more) a discount is possible upon request.
