The space Quarry Cottage is stone built with an open plan living space, artisan-made furniture, two double and one single bedroom, a bathroom with shower and bath, rooftop verandah. The 4 m wide verandah on three sides of the house provides a natural viewing platform to the park and is furnished with a large dining table, safari chairs, and a sofa. If the weather proves a bit chilly, then a fire can be lit indoors. The cottage sits within a 2 acre plot all of which is accessible by guests. Guest access Bed and breakfast : currently not available. I have space for a maximum of 5 people in two doubles and one single. The house costs approx 8 000 ksh per night for up to 6 nights. Ask for rates if staying longer. The minimum booking period is 2 nights. This arrangement gives access to all three bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 5 people on a self-catering basis. Other things to note Other visitors to be aware of are baboons, who can be alarming. Ignore them and they will go away. Make sure your car doors and the front door to the house are closed when they are nearby. Monkeys are also regular visitors so do close windows when you go out, and keep an eye on them as they are very wiley.
